Worldwide Vision Care

Globally, 1 billion people are struggling with a vision impairment that can be prevented or has not yet been addressed. No one should have to suffer avoidable blindness due to where they live or lack of affordability. Eye Foundation of America (EFA) provides preventive eye care and treatment that is both affordable and accessible. We want to eliminate avoidable blindness, especially in children.

EFA’s mission is to go where the need is greatest – often rural and remote areas of developing countries where there is no medical care or where the cost of the care is prohibitive.
